Hi, I'm Avani! Melbourne based poet, storyteller, and master of oversharing. Follow along for a whirlwind of anecdotes, poems, and quirks that come with experiencing the world as a pessimist and a romantic with a knack for the dramatic.

Writing without the intention of sharing allows for the most honest expression and re-telling of an experience or emotion.
After years of hiding in a poets closet I was convinced to share hidden prose, poetry and absurd-ness with an audience. Since then I have not looked back.
Unafraid to be afraid.
To be real and as raw as it gets.
Unapologetic-ally oversharing and
Unapologetic-ally myself. 

I also like to doodle little drawings in my spare time, so all of the art you see here is by yours truly unless expressed otherwise! Awesome!
